Real Time Process Control by Means of Transputers
Siegfried Kohler (1996)
Microelectronics today offer integrated circuits whose capacity is far superior to what was considered as "state-of-the- art" just a few years ago. "Transputers" (which is the name given to high performance microprocessors belonging to the RISC family) and developed by the British INMOS company, provide significantly advantages for injection moulding process control. This paper discusses such benefits and explains the difference between the "Transputer" and the older generation microprocessors.

Quality in Injection Moulding
Alfons Seuthe (1993)
Increasing competitive pressure in national and international markets has seen quality assurance and process control become of vital importance in the modern injection moulding shop. This paper discusses:
- Parameters influencing moulding quality
- Quality monitoring of the Injection moulding process
- Quality assurance by means of statistical methods
- Mean value, range, standard deviation and   distribution
- Machine and process capability
- Control charts and Continuos Process Control

Automation
Hans-Joachim Henze (1993)
Discusses the layout of different clamping and utility coupling systems and compares the different possibilities to facilitate decision-making. Covering vertical and horizontal QMC mould change systems, quick clamping systems, roll in - roll out mould changing, robotics, parts removal and insertion.
