Mould Labelling Solutions (IML) are world leaders in proven technology
and design evolution. At the forefront of this field, Wittmann are
continually striving to improve its technologies and diversify their
application.
A broad spectrum of IML solutions are available for your consideration,
including:
- Budget: IML systems from basic label placement through to
high speed multi-cavity, label placement, part collection, part
inspection, conveyor stacking, placement to storage box solutions with
payloads up to 75kg
- Output Volume: Depending upon your volume requirements, a IML
system can accommodate the speed of your Injection moulding machine
-"IMM" (IMPORTANTLY: Any brand of injection moulding
machine with Euromap interface)
- Floor layout/ space availability: Understanding space costs a
premium, our IML solutions come in a broad range of configurations to
best suit your space availability. Understanding that your IMM's may be
closely spaced, this can be taken into consideration when devising a
solution.
- Label Placement Accuracy: All Wittmann IML's are designed to
provide the highest level of label placement accuracy, per the solution
standard provided.
- Label Configuration: All label styles and shapes are
supported, including: banderol, one side, two sided, five sided,
whatever your product design. We will work closely with your label
supplier to optimise performance.
- Part Stacking or Free Fall: Depending on your requirement,
the final part/s can be removed from the mould and place to a deposit
point, normally a stepped conveyor. Alternatively, parts can be allowed
to free fall. Parts can be placed to conveyor upside down, or right side
up - your choice.
- Single or Stack Mould Configurations: IML systems can be
configured for both mould options, and for multi-cavity. A custom
solution already tried and tested exists for your circumstance.
- Inspection Systems: There an various reasons for the
implementation of an inspection system, and include: label placement
accuracy, correct label installed, barcode reading, part contents
contamination, inspection of a parts critical point, etc..
- End of Line Packing: Wittmann now offer end of line packing
solutions that stack parts, and place stacks to box.
- Mould Solutions: Being a specialised toolmaker of thin wall
parts, a complete solution, including high performance tools and the
integrated automation system can be supplied, fully tested and
optimized, saving a lot of up front coordination, start-up time and
money. The hot runner moulds are designed specifically for thin wall
parts and offer an extremely stable mould construction with optimised
cooling channels. Based on years of experience, these high performance
moulds are supplied for guaranteed high production volumes and are
suited for IML projects.
- Custom Solutions: Wittmann does NOT have a standard range of
IML systems. Each IML is configured slightly differently per
circumstance, so each solution correctly matches the customers
requirements.
